Services

At Chats Sans Famille ASBL, we believe every cat — whether born in the wild or abandoned by humans — deserves to live free from pain, fear, and neglect.

Through hands-on action, vet partnerships, and public awareness, we work to protect vulnerable cats across Antoing and surrounding villages.
We focus on what works — and we keep it simple, local, and real.

🐱 Trap–Neuter–Return (TNR)

This is the core of what we do.

We humanely trap stray and feral cats, take them to our partner vets for sterilization, parasite treatment, and wound care, then release them back safely to their known territory.
Many are ear-tipped for identification.

TNR reduces suffering and stops the endless cycle of reproduction. It also helps reduce nuisance and improves coexistence between cats and humans.

🏡 Temporary Foster Care

Some cats can’t go back to the street — kittens, sick or injured cats, and those too friendly or fragile.
These cats are placed in temporary foster homes, where they rest, recover, and learn to trust again.

We provide food, litter, and medical support — our foster families provide safety and love.

💌 Responsible Adoption

When a foster cat is healthy and ready, we help find them the right family, not just any family.

We get to know both the cat and the adopter to ensure it’s a good match. We also stay available after adoption for support or questions.
For us, adoption is the beginning of a lifelong bond — not just a signature on paper.

🚨 Emergency Help

When a cat is found injured, abandoned, or in danger, we do our best to respond quickly.

With limited resources, we rely on community tips, volunteer transport, and trusted local vets to act fast and humanely.
We prioritize cases based on urgency and capacity — but we never ignore a cat in real distress.

📣 Public Awareness

Many people want to help — they just don’t know how.

That’s why we share practical advice on:

  • How and why to sterilize
  • What to do when you find a kitten
  • How to build winter shelters for outdoor cats
  • Where to get low-cost vet care

We raise awareness through social media, flyers, and local partnerships.
When people understand the problem, they become part of the solution.
